What’s that? Jarvis Cocker releases a ‘bird song’ album WTF!?
”Good old Jarvis Cocker, you can always rely on him to come up with some weirdo, crazy bean head idea that is both stupid and weird at the same time. His latest offering is no exception.
Basically the ex ‘pulp’ vocalist has teamed up with the national trust to create a cd of bird songs, creaky floor boards and trickling water. The pulp mentalist created the tracks from 11 locations, all made up entirely of natural sounds, his reasoning? to help us all relax.
Now I live a highly stressed life, I work full time, and work even harder into the early hours of the morning on blokebuddy, all for you guys, and I like it that way. I don’t want to relax, because if I relax I may get caught off guard and get attacked by some crazy sofa dwelling ninja! OK maybe not, but you never know.
Anyway the point is that whilst this may sound like a good idea, most of us Brit’s will think the same thing…..’what a load of old w**k!’
Well if you are a mental hippy that enjoys the sound of water running over a rock, or a bird tweeting away then this would be great for you, but I suspect my readers would prefer to hear the sound of machine gun fire bouncing off Jarvis’s overly enormous forehead.
You can get the album for free, (well I doubt anyone would actually pay cash for it) here. I haven’t listened to it yet, I suppose I should really, do let us know what you think of it and leave a comment.

I am not really into listen to nature noises to relax but if Jarvis Cocker is doing this for free to try to help people relax don’t you think that makes you look a total tosser for ripping into him about it? Or are you just one of those people who likes to sound big and clever and funny by being negative about things.

Ok well I kind of see your point, but at the end of the day I can’t please everyone, this blog is heavily humour based and very outspoken, if you don’t like what I write then you are free to go elsewhere.
