Cole To Have Surgery
”Chelsea defender Ashley Cole will undergo surgery on his ankle later on today in a bid to get him ready for the world cup.
This is a desperate bid to get him to full fitness after being declared out of action for 3 months. Cole sustained the injury during Wednesday’s premier league match against Everton at goodison park.
Cole clashed with Landon Donavan during the match causing him injury, although the clash has not been treated as foul play, just mere misfortune.
Cole’s fitness has always been on top form and I very much doubt he will be out for too long, he loves his team and plays like a trooper giving the fans 100% effort, so I wouldn’t worry too much about him being out of the world cup.
