USA 1 England 1, should we be worried?
Well the first England game of the world cup resulted in an equalizer against USA this evening, but should we be worried?
A number of mistakes on our part contributed to the draw, but most importantly Green let in a limp goal from Clint Dempsey which brought the equalizing goal.
We played a great first half, with Gerrard scoring in the first 4 minutes, and we had the majority of ball possession. This is the problem see, we got a bit too confident as always and let our guard down a bit, letting in stupid goals is the result of that.
I don’t think we have anything to worry about, we are the strongest team in the group, and despite our set backs with Ferdinand being out, we still have a very strong team, Rooney, Gerrard and Crouch proved that tonight with some epic attempts.
It’s the first England match of the cup, we lost 2 points but hey, in 66′ we drew on our first game so maybe it’s a sign from above!
I think we should be worried, to win the first game is a supreme confidence booster. I also think of the teams I,ve watched so far S.koreas work rate and keeness, is something we could learn from.
This is it see, we get cocky too early on, we could be a much better team if we had just an ounce more determination and resolve than we currently do, we should have won that game for sure, I don’t want to beat Green up about it as I expect he’s feeling pretty bad already.
We will get better as the tournament goes on, If they don’t beat Algeria next friday I think the world will collapse in on itself.

Well USA was lucky lol, I’m talking about england, we should have beat you guys hands down but we cocked it up as usual.
